1950's Ray Ban Ads

It's hard to find 1950's Ray Ban ads on the internet, becauase the web didn't exist back then... not in the wildest imagination of even the cleverest minds.
1950's Ray Ban ads were purely in newspapers and magazines. Even television only began in the late 1950s.
Remember, the internet originally began as multiple links between US military installations and US universities back in the late 1960s but the web only became popular in the very late 1990s.
A quick web search came up with someone offering the subject on eBay (1950's Ray Ban ads). But that could well have been some auto-generated come-on ad by eBay themselves. I didn't bother checking there, but you're welcome to go that way if it suits you better.
You can also find the Ray-Ban website at http://www.rayban.com/ where, after an overly-long wait for their Flash intro to load, you can see a small slide-show of old Ray-Ban advertisements and magazine covers for the 1930's, 1940's, 1950's Ray Ban ads ... right through 1990s and Today.
If you're game enough to go check at a good library, I'd be looking in the now-defunct fashion and news magazines of the 1950s. And look for photos of Hollywood movie stars such as Rock Hudson or Marilyn Monroe wearing Ray-Ban sunglasses. That's what 1950's Ray Ban ads were like.
