UVA/UVB 100% Sun Glasses

It is possible to get UVA/UVB 100% sun glasses which block 100 percent of the UVA and UVB rays from the sun, but you'll need to read the manufacturer's specifications very carefully.
The reason to be so cautious, is that the standards by which the makers measure (which are UVA/UVB 100% sun glasses and which are not UVA/UVB 100% sun glasses) are purely voluntary. They are left up to the makers themselves. There is no government standard for testing which sun glasses are good enough.
So who do you trust to make UVA/UVB 100% sun glasses properly?
Ultra-violet light rays from the sun can be divided into three wavelength bands, A B and C. We know them as UV/A, UV/B and UV/C.
UV/C doesn't even make it as far as the earth's surface... It gets absorbed by our atmosphere. And UV/A is 'iffy'. (Nobody has proved UVA causes any eye problems, but they're not 100% sure either.)
The rays we know to be dangerous are the UV/B wavelengths. They give us sunburn and cause skin cancers, and they can definitely hurt your eyes as well. So UVA/UVB 100% sun glasses will do the trick protecting your eyesight as long as the manufacturer has been completely straight with us.
Be sure to check with multiple sun glasses manufacturers, and see what their websites or brochures tell you. Then take your pick of the best UVA/UVB 100% sun glasses.
